Loved it. I am a T2 diabetic and hope this book will be helpful for me. Because calorie management does wonders in managing many diseases. It is a good book for nutritionists and obviously for those who want to lose weight.

Has a TOC where dishes are broken up into meal categories.
Color photos are shown throughout the book. Intro talks about the Mediterranean counteis and how different they are with the food that comes from them.
Basic guidelines are discussed.
So much more is discussed about teh diet itself and the components that make it up.
Each category starts with a color photo and a few paragraphs about the dishes.
Each recipe starts with a title, prep and cooking time and servings.
List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat and low sugar products along with fresh vs. canned items.
Directions are given and some nutritional information: calories, fat-NOT broken up into good or bad, carbs and protein.
Not every recipe starts at the top of a new page.
Not all recipes show the same nutritional information. Some actually have calories, total fat, sat. fat, cholesterol, sodium, total carbs, dietary fiber, total sugars, protein, vit D, calcium, Iron, potassium and some also include tips about making the dish easier to make.
Has seven days of meal planning with links to recipes.
Cooking measurment conversion chart, liquid volume. Like the section on kitchen tools, so informative.
Grocery shopping list is also included by food cateogies, about the author and other works are also listed at the end.

This book, Mediterranean Cookbook for Healthy Lifestyle: 70 Easy Recipes for Eating and Feeling Well Every Day, 7-Day Meal Plan by Jennifer Tate, explains it in a nutshell. The recipes are easy to follow and even tell how long it takes to prepare the dish and how long to cook it. The steps are well thought out and the recipes appear to be tasty. Delicious recipes! For a person who enjoys preparing cuisine there are many common cooking ingredients for each of these tongue tantalizing recipes. Finding ingredients is a challenge many home culinary artists encounter and it is a welcomed surprise to find a book where a person does not need a special trip or large purchase order to prepare the delectably appealing to the taste buds. These recipes are awesome because they serve the whole family with human portions which can be mixed an matched with other Mediterranean meal staples or recipes.

Fantastic Recipes I really enjoyed the book and picked up some great recipes. The Classic Mediterranean Tomato Soup is now one of my favs. I can't wait to try the Mediterranean Snapper. Desserts look fabulous, and the trifle will make its way to my next party!
